For my project i interviewed shivam. Shivam is 25 years old. He came from Mumbai or Bombay  India when he was 24. He speaks english, and has since 4th grade, but he also speaks four other languages. He came the the US to go to SJSU for his masters in electrical engineering and because the advancement in technology is much more than in india. To move he had to get his student visa,he said it was not that difficult to achieve. He did have family here before he moved living in sunnyvale, but was not the reason for his move. They moved in 1990. He came on a plane, which was a two day flight. Shivam said that the first thing he noticed about the us was that everyone was amazingly so polite and that the streets where much much more empty, because in india everyone is walking and do not take cars. You never see an empty street, everywhere is packed. In india he watch lots of american movies, so he thought it was going to be exactly like that, he said he was disappointed but understood and still liked it very much. He feels Americanized a bit because everyone in india has maids. So now he cooks, laundry and cleans, feels more independent. He mentions that when people travel to india they often try to swindle americans to buy things for a much more expensive price. His first day in america he had taco bell and he liked it he is also vegetarian because of his hinduism religion. A story he told me was that when deciding to move here, he didn’t do proper research on san jose. He thought that we had beaches! so the day he came he asked to go to the beach and wondered where they were, his family told him they were only 30 minutes away. One of the last questions i asked him was if people in india saw this interview what would they think of him? he answered that they would be laughing there ass off.  Another fact about india is that he said people are like machines over there they are raised to study that hard and be very educated. Education is very cut throat. Value for money is different. A dollar here is 15 pieces in india.

My belief is that Life,Love and laughter are the most precious and important things on earth.

That is why i choose the topic of abortion, because it is morally wrong and completely goes against my way of thinking.

You are in control of your own actions, correct? If its something good or something bad that has happen to you, its on you to change the outcome. Yes, Sometimes bad things happen to people that do not deserve it, that is why you have to be aware of where you are, who you are with, your whole situation. But I believe everything happens for a reason and every new day is other chance to change your life. People make mistakes, nobody is perfect… but not giving a innocent human being a chance to live Any kind of life, weather if its in an orphanage, on the street or in a warm cozy home, bad or good, its a life even if its a fetus.. and deserves the chance to live. Life is what you make it, whoever you might be or whoever you came from. People may argue with me and say that it is the mothers choice. That is plain murder. If you were under the influence or raped. Its called Plan b. You have to live with the consequences of your choices, and abortions are just a woman’s way of an easy way out.

• All life is sacred.
• It Is wrong to deprive an unborn child of its God given right to experience life and one day become whoever he/she wants to be.
•  A fetus can feel. Even though it may not be fully formed, a fetus in the second trimester is still able to feel pain. A baby starts kicking it’s mom’s stomach.
• I don’t even know why they call it abortion, they should just call it murder because that is what it is.
• ABORTION CLINICS RELY ON TAXPAYERS MONEY
• Your money weather you agree or disagree goes into facilities which condone taking lives, your money is much needed in things that could better our world.
• At any age, any person as long as you have the money can get one without anyone knowing, unacceptable.
• Many deaths and disabilities have occurred in the procedures.
• The two categories are pro-life and pro-choice.
• Thankfully president bush put a ban act on partial-birth abortions.

My names Amanda Trillo, but everyone calls me Trillo. I’m super jazzed about taking this class because it is a requirement for me……, but more importantly interests me very much so!, I was already a fan of photography and I intend to leave this class with as much information as possible, especially in journalism. It is also my intention to bring a voice to certain subjects that fit my interest.
